IMPORTANT:
Acid free mats containing lignin are non archival, their life span is around 10 years -this is most visible decoration mat you can find everywhere.
Conservation mat boards are used for most artwork or photographs that have a life expectancy of 50 -150 years - and should be used on original work, fine art prints on archival quality acid-free paper and other valuable papers. Mats are shipped secured in clear archival photo bags.
CHOOSE YOUR OPENING SIZE:
Mat opening should be 0.5" smaller in each direction of your print to provide some overlap. Example: 11x14" photo would be typed: Opening 10.5x13.5". Mat will be cut to exact size provided. Mat should be at least 1" wide and is cut to the nearest 1/8".
