JSDF strictly prohibits transferring and reselling all of equipments.（uniform, patches, all of small gear, of course RATIONS too!!!）
And, there is no DRMO（Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office）like U.S.Armed Force.
So, JSDF genuine equipments are NOT in distribution in Japan. It is difficult for getting JSDF ration by civilian.
*JSDF（Japan Self Defense Force） = In Japan, Armed Forces are not called "ARMY" or "NAVY" or "AIR FORCE" .
Because, after world war II, Occupied Japan established the very peaceful constitution including "article 9".
Article 9.　Aspiring sincerely to an international peace based on justice and order, the Japanese people forever renounce war as a sovereign right of the nation and the threat or use of force as means of settling international disputes.
In order to accomplish the aim of the preceding paragraph, land, sea, and air forces, as well as other war potential, will never be maintained.
The right of belligerency of the state will not be recognized.
But, in 1950 Korean War broke out GHQ ordered establishing "Police reserve force" for defending from communism.
The contradiction started from there.In 1954, Police Reserve Force is forced to upgrade to “Japan Self Defense Force” by GHQ.
