    Brittle stars or ophiuroids are echinoderms in the class Ophiuroidea closely related to starfish. They crawl across the sea floor using their flexible arms for locomotion. The most famous Jurassic deposit in the world, is found in the Solnhofen, and Eichstatt of Germany.
