Madagascar Rosewood
Botanical Name: Dalbergia spp.

Madagascar Rosewood is comprised of a number of Dalbergia species only found on the African island of Madagascar. Heartwood generally ranges from a light yellow-brown to a darker orange or reddish brown. Madagascar Rosewood has a distinct, rosewood-like scent while being worked. This is a rare wood as international trade is banned. There is no CITES or import paperwork available.
Note there  are small pin knots but most do not go through the wood. Just a little cyano glue and sanding should do the trick.

Free sanding on orders or more, upon request.
Wet with mineral spirits to show finish.
