    This is a very nice  Quartersawn
    WENGE
    (millitia laurentii)
    back and side set for building an acoustic guitar.
    This an excellent tonewood with beautiful deep chocolate brown/black color,  and fine, consistent, straight grain.
    This is a fairly heavy, dense wood, with strong well balanced tone.
    Loud, ringing taptone with nice sustain.
    Bends without  much difficulty and finishes nicely.
    The measurements are as follows: back boards (each half)  8" x 21.5" x .130+"thick. The sides- 5" x 32.5" x .130+".
    All
    of my guitar sets are properly dried and seasoned and ready for sanding.   Bid with Confidence!
