Creed fragrances are referred to by name & a batch...for example:::Virgin Island Water 17T01..from year 2017 because of the 17...The letter represent the time or the newest or next batch that tweaks or changes were made too...17T01, 17Y01, 17Y02 are all from 2017 but 17T01 would be the oldest by the letter....18D02, 18G11, 18K11 are all from 2018 .... 19P01, 19P11, 19S01 are from 2019 and so forth...Creed makes changes to fragrances yearly, monthly....the reason why some batches are sought after so highly.... in most cases... the older the batch the more mature it is like a fine wine....also followed by a higher price...

In my opinion...this fragrance reminds me of the tropical
Caribbean. It is simultaneously fresh and warm while being an uplifting scent.  The fragrance radiates Jamaican lime and coconut.  It complimenting  both men and women in warmer months. I prefer this
fragrance
during the spring/summer months but it can be worn all year round.
