    This is a group of two rare items for the 1947 San Francisco Candidate for Mayor race by candidate Chester MacPhee.  It includes the promotional "Get you Teeth into this" with the piece of Beech-Nut Gum and the Dinner Invitation to support Chester MacPhee.  T
    here is minor toning on the dinner invitation and paper attached to reverse of both items.
    Chester MacPhee was a long time member of the San Francisco County Board of Supervisors.  He did not win the 4 November 1947 election for San Francisco Mayor.
