READY- FOR MEAL FLAMELESS HEATER RATION SUPPLEMENT
A flameless ration heater, or FRH, is a water-activated exothermic chemical heater included with meals, ready-to-eat ( MREs) used to heat the food.
US military specifications for the heater require it be capable of raising the temperature of an 8-ounce (226.8 g) entrée by
100 °F (56 °C)
in twelve minutes, and that it has no visible flame.
Water-activated with 3 tablespoons of water to the bottom water line. These can be used for heating civilian food and military MRE food packs or pouches.
Perfect for camping, Hiking, traveling, emergency storage, 72-hour packs and any other cooking needs. Each heater will heat one food and drink at the same time.
